Tata AIA Life launches new age technology solution – eLife

The innovation uses the Android platform to make insurance buying a simple and enjoyable experience for customers
 Increases productivity of its premier advisors
Guwahati: In line with its vision to deliver best-in-class solutions and ensure customers’ well being, Tata AIA Life Insurance Company (Tata AIA Life) announced today the launch of eLife, a fully mobile and secure electronic solution that simplifies the process of buying and selling life insurance solutions.

Mukesh Dhawan, deputy chief executive officer and chief distribution officer, Tata AIA Life, launched eLife before the media in Guwahati, Assam. The occasion also witnessed the unveiling of Tata AIA Life’s new-generation premier agency brand mascot – Smartee. An expert on Tata AIA Life’s insurance solutions, Smartee analyses various needs of the customers to present the right solution for the right life stage of the customer, through a combination of life insurance products.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Dhawan said, “Our eLife innovation is a reflection of our strategic intent to empower our sales force with smart tools and convenient solutions that will serve our customers faster and even reduce the paper involved. It will allow our customers to engage with the company with ease, by making the entire buying experience of life insurance simpler as also enjoyable.”

During the day, Mr Dhawan also addressed Tata AIA Life's Premier Agency at the Power Up Fest, a distribution outreach program for its agency force, organised in Guwahati.

Completeness of information and ease of documentation     eLife prompts and facilitates the advisors to verify that information gathered is complete and correct and also allows instant document upload before the forms can be e-submitted.

Tata AIA Life believes that providing the right advice the right way will bridge the protection gap in India and also facilitate long term saving habits amongst Indians. This prompted the company to launch Premier Agency, which is steadily growing with a network of over 160 branches across India. A recently concluded event of Premier Agency, the MDRT Experience in Hyderabad, saw more than 600 premier agents participating from the AIA group in Asia.
